Last night’s game, where the Jerk Fuzzballs lost to the Garveys, was a very hard loss to take; the Fuzzballs walked 10 times.

After the game we talked to Lindor, the Fuzzball’s speedy shortstop, and asked about his approach. “well, you know, I mean, I just came into the game knowing that the Garv’s pitchers can never really throw strikes, and can’t always find the zone, you know.” He said. “My first at-bat really set the tone, man. I come up ready to feast on ’em, and what happens? They brush me back on the first pitch, then spike one in the dirt, and then nail me in the ribs!”

Lindor’s first AB was one of four walks he would draw in the game. The Fuzzballs overall are a very patient team, leading BatBreaker with an OBP of .450, walking 51 times in eight games. The Garveys pitchers, on the other hand, have walked 44 batters in just 73 innings!

After the game, the Garveys manager confessed, “Well, the real reason he [Lindor] walked for times was because were afraid of him. That guy is one of the best raw hitters in the game, and is pretty fast.

This is not a compliment without grounds: all up and down the jerk’s lineup there are really solid hitters. Hitting in the 3-hole, is Gary Sanchez, who is hitting .333 with 3 round-trippers, and 13 batted in.
